The delegates were treated to a traditional entertainment after the meeting. there was lots of drinks and nyama choma. the tradional dancers were Ndere troupes, they put up a good show, displaying dances from different culture. the evening was lively. i jumped into the wagon and drunk the amarula (not the comedy family.
The day did not end well for Prof. Latigo ogeng the Opposition leader in the 8th Parliament. The Prof. was interacting with delegates and having good time, unfortumately there was a fracas caused by the one of the waitresses, which annoyed the opposition leader, though you could see him quiet, but the face was really angry. anyway it was sad for the waitress because the good opp. leader took further step and reported the matter to the management, and the waitress had to lose her job, (the prof. dot had a heart for the poor girl, where is she going to go!)
left for home at 11.00pm and getting means of transport was a problem. you know when you are in Munyo, you fear to ask for a lift, no one is gonna stop for you. i had to hire boda to take me up to the main road from Gaba Beach. i managed to get a taxi. i reach home towards Mid-night. i ddnt see the kids found all asleep. my God they are missing me.
